A patch has been released that adds path tracing to Cyberpunk 2077

⚡️ We have great news for all lovers of beautiful graphics and high technology - an update for Cyberpunk 2077 was released on April 11, adding path tracing in RT Overdrive mode to the game! Path tracing, also known as full ray tracing, is the most realistic lighting algorithm that calculates the complex path of rays from light sources to the camera. Path tracing allows you to use an unlimited number of lights, each of which can cast shadows from objects. Thus, the RT Overdrive setting adds a huge number of shadows to scenes, advanced global illumination with color transfer and allows you to get rid of artifacts of the passage of light through surfaces, as well as glowing silhouettes around characters and other lighting errors. For a preview of path tracing, please enable RT Overdrive in game settings and DLSS 3 on RTX 40 series cards for high frame rates and low control lag!
